Effects of Radiation on CMOS RF and Analog Circuits, and Mitigation Techniques

First, an overview will be given on the types of radiation and the associated effects and failure mechanisms on CMOS devices and circuits. Next, RF and analog design techniques will be described to overcome these effects using standard CMOS processes. Finally, example state-of-the-art radiation hardened RFIC implementations will be described.
